The Washington Redskins defeated the Dallas Cowboys in overtime as backup Colt McCoy had oen of his best games as a pro.
The 20-17 win included Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo going back into the game after taking a shot to his surgically repaired back.
The upset win broke the Cowboys' six-game winning streak.
McCoy won't retain the job, though.
Robert Griffin III is coming back from a dislocated ankle and will remain the starter when he returns.
"Robert's our starter," coach Jay Gruden said. "I haven't wavered off of that in my mind. When he's ready, he'll be ready to go."
