Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and free safety Earl Thomas got hurt in the NFC championship game and both vowed to play in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots.
Sherman hurt his elbow. Thomas hurt his shoulder. Both players are scheduled to under magnetic resonance imaging exams Monday.
Sherman got hurt tackling Packers running back James Starks.
Sherman remained in the game, but was clearly hurt.
"We got tape for the warriors," Sherman said. "I guarantee you in our next game, we will all be out there."
Thomas says he still plans to play.
"I know who I am, I'm a warrior, bro," Thomas said. "If I can play I don't care if I can't function really well. I know if I can help the team I'm going to be in there."
