New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan's job is safe, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

That doesn't mean other coaches are, though.

The Saints are expected to make changes on defense. The Saints have already fired tight ends coach Terry Malone, receivers coach Henry Ellard and assistant secondary coach Andre Curtis.

The Saints fell to 31st in total defense after ranking fourth the previous year.

"I don't want to play for any other defensive coordinator other than Rob Ryan," linebacker Curtis Lofton said.
