The New England Patriots have signed cornerback Robert McClain following his tryout Tuesday.
McClain is a former Carolina Panthers seventh-round pick.
He has played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons.
The last three years with the Falcons, he had three interceptions, two forced fumbles and two sacks.
