The New Orleans Saints have signed former New York Giants safety Kenny Phillips to a reserve-future deal.
Phillips started for the Giants.
He was a first-round draft pick in 2008. He has 263 tackles and eight interceptions.
Phillips was briefly with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2013, but hasn't played in a game since 2012.
Phillips has had problems with his knees, including microfracture surgery on his left knee in 2009.
