The Seattle Seahawks have gone to the hardwood to get their newest tight end.
The club has signed Darren Fells, the brother of New England Patriots tight end Daniel Fells, to a three-year contract after a workout.
Darren Fells, 6-7, 280 pounds, played basketball in Argentina this past year. He has also played professionally in Belgium, Finland, France and Mexico, according to NFL.com.
Darren Fells played college basketball at UC-Irvine. He turns 27 next month. Here is some video</a> of him playing hoops in Finland.
