Veteran defensive tackle Rocky Bernard is visiting the Detroit Lions today, according to a league source.
Bernard, 34, played for the New York Giants for the past four seasons.
He recorded 30 tackles and one sack last season in five starts and a dozen games played.
The former Seattle Seahawks standout has 380 career tackles, 33 sacks and five forced fumbles.
The 6-foot-3, 301-pounder played collegiately at Texas A&M.
The Lions have also met with veteran defensive tackle Justin Bannan this week.
