Well, this is quite interesting.
The Browns have deactivated rookie running back Terrance West for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Considering that West has had a solid start to his NFL career, it seems a bit strange to go ahead and go without him this Sunday.
Ben Tate will get the majority of the carries with undrafted rookie Isaiah Crowell serving as his backup. West isn't hurt, and according to The Baltimore Sun and National Football Post's Aaron Wilson, this was done purely for football reasons.
Coach Mike Pettine will certainly be asked about this decision with West following Sunday's game.
