The Houston Texans said goodbye to wide receiver/return man Jacoby Jones on Tuesday, putting him on waivers, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Jones caught 31 passes for 512 yards last season, but incurred the wrath of Texans fans when he muffed a punt in Houston's divisional playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens last season.
Jones was a third-round pick of the Texans in 2007, but became expandable when Houston drafted DeVier Posey and Keshawn Martin over the weekend.
