The ACC is days away from their most important conference matchup of the season as the No. 3 Clemson Tigers host the No. 17 Florida State Seminoles at Clemson Memorial Stadium on November 7th at 3:30 p.m. ET.
Clemson is 5-0 in the conference and 8-0 overall, combining one of the fiercest defenses in the nation with dynamic two-way quarterback Deshaun Watson. The Seminoles are 7-1 overall, but are 5-1 in the conference after their improbable loss to the 3-6 (1-5 ACC) Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets two weeks ago. As Florida State attempted a 56-yard game-winning field goal, the Yellow Jackets blocked the kick and returned it for a touchdown as time expired for the upset win and perhaps derailed the Seminoles’ chances of reaching back-to-back College Football Playoffs.
Fans of both teams, or just fans of the conference in general, are trying to get their hands on tickets to the most important ACC game of the season. Unfortunately, the best time to purchase
on the secondary market may have passed.
According to TiqIQ.com, the dog days of summer were the best time to purchase tickets to this game on the secondary market, but there’s obvious risk attached to that. One would have to predict that these two teams were on a collision course for first place in the Atlantic division in the ACC and would need some excellent predicting skills. The lowest average ticket price was $177.40 on July 9th. The average price was rather steady from May 1st to September 1st, going from $234.46 to $224.28, fluctuating slightly in either direction throughout the summer.
The rise began in September, which is when the college football season began. The September 1st average ticket price of $224.28 climbed to $258.60 by October 1st before reaching a peak (since after April 1st) of $325.16 on October 25th. Today—November 3rd—the average ticket price is $239.43 with a get-in price of $97.
Whether plans have been in the works for months or it’s a last minute trip,
ready to book to be within a two-hour drive of the Clemson campus, where a variety of public transportation options are available. In addition to flights,
