Former Chicago Bears safety Tom Zbikowski has been reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell following a four-game suspension for violating the NFL performance-enhancing drug policy.
The veteran free agent is now eligible to play in games, and was already eligible to be signed.
Zbikowski is a former Baltimore Ravens third-round draft pick who has also started for the Indianapolis Colts.
He was signed to a one-year contract by his hometown Bears, but was released prior to the regular season.
