PRESS RELEASE
TOP PASSERS: Six active quarterbacks – New England’s TOM BRADY, New Orleans’ DREW BREES, the Los Angeles Chargers’ PHILIP RIVERS, the New York Giants’ ELI MANNING, Pittsburgh’s BEN ROETHLISBERGER and Green Bay’s AARON RODGERS – rank in the top 10 in NFL history in passing touchdowns.
With four touchdown passes on Monday Night Football at Buffalo (8:15 PM ET, ESPN), Brady (504 touchdown passes) would tie Pro Football Hall of Famer BRETT FAVRE (508) for the second-most touchdown passes in NFL history.
Roethlisberger (341) needs two touchdown passes against Cleveland (1:00 PM ET, CBS) on Sunday to surpass Pro Football Hall of Famer FRAN TARKENTON (342) and move into sole possession of eighth place on the league’s all-time touchdown passes list.
