The Carolina Panthers have signed veteran interior offensive lineman Scott Mruczkowski to a one-year contract.

Mruczkowski spent the past seven seasons with the San Diego Chargers, spending time both at guard and center and as one of the team's top backups on the o-line.

Mruczkowski has familiarity with Panthers head coach Ron Rivera, who previously served as defensive coordinator for the Chargers.
