Patriots promote Forston, cut Neblett

The New England Patriots have promoted defensive tackle Marcus Forston from the practice squad to the active roster, cutting defensive tackle Andre Neblett.

Neblett was signed Wednsday.

Forston is a former undrafted free agent from the University of Miami signed last season.

The Patriots needed depth at defensive tackle after ruling out Tommy Kelly.
