49ers linebacker Aldon Smith is expected to start for Sunday’s game against the Colts, according to a report from ESPN.
Smith was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Friday, which put his game status in doubt. However, the ESPN report also stated that the CBA is preventing the 49ers from suspending the troubled linebacker.
Smith has had numerous run-ins with the law with both substance-related and traffic arrests.
