Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank said he was embarrassed and angered when he learned that his team was being investigated by the NFL for piping in crowd noise at the Georgia Dome.
“We cooperated fully,” Blank told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “We certainly support the integrity of the league, the integrity of fair competition and the integrity of the shield. We are not happy about it.”
The NFL could potentially fine the Falcons or possibly punish them by taking away a draft pick.
“Based on the information that we have now, we’ve dealt with it as best we can currently,” Blank said. “But until we see the full report we can’t really make a statement or more than that. We have to see the report first. That’s not our culture and what we are about or what the NFL is about."
