The Chicago Bears have hired former Denver Broncos coach John Fox as their new head coach, according to the Denver Post.
Fox won four consecutive AFC West titles before parting ways with the Broncos after failing to return to the Super Bowl this year after being blown out in the Super Bowl a year ago.
Fox replaces Marc Trestman.
He's their third head coach since 2012.
Fox interviewed on Wednesday.
Fox has ties to Bears general manager through consultant Ernie Accorsi, whom he worked for with the New York Giants.
Fox is good friends with New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton.
