The Chicago Bears have maintained over and over again that they are happy with their wide receivers, but from the outside looking in, there is a need for a big target.

Maybe the Bears are going to do something to fill that void for quarterback Jay Cutler. The team is putting Boise State wide receiver Austin Pettis through a private workout today. Boise State’s all-time leader in receptions (229) and touchdowns (39) had 71 catches for 951 yards and 10 scores last season for the Broncos.

Pettis is almost 6-2
