Cincinnati Bengals rookie quarterback A.J. McCarron is cleared to practice.

The fifth-round draft pick from Alabama remains on the reserve-non-football injury list with a shoulder injury.

The Bengals have 21 days to determine whether McCarron will remain on the reserve list.

For now, he can practice and isn't on the active roster.
