Michigan at Penn State (+4)
Michigan remains undefeated this season at 9-0, but they’re only 4-4-1 against the spread. However, recently they’ve been a solid bet with a 4-1 ATS mark in their last five games. On the road the Wolverines have also been a solid pick with nine straight wins and an 8-1 ATS record. That includes a 7-1 ATS record as a road favorite.
Penn State is usually tough at home where they’ve won seven straight with a 5-1-1 ATS record. However, the results look different when the Nittany Lions are home underdogs. As home ‘dogs they’ve lost five straight at 2-3 ATS. Last season Michigan dominated Penn State is a 41-17 win.
Pick: Michigan -4
Tennessee at Missouri (+2)
Tennessee crushed Connecticut 59-3 as 35-point favorites last week to improve to 5-1 SU and ATS in their last six games. On the road their numbers aren’t as great, as they’re 2-4 SU and ATS in their last six games.
Missouri fell to Georgia 30-21 last week but posted a win ATS as a 14-point underdog. That was the Tigers third straight ATS win and they’re 6-1 ATS in their last seven. As home underdogs they’re 5-1 ATS in their last six.
Pick: Missouri +2
Ole Miss at Georgia (-10.5)
Georgia continued to let down bettors last week in their win over Missouri. Sure, the Bulldogs remained undefeated by beating the Tigers 30-21 but they were 14-point favorites and dropped to 2-6-1 ATS. At home the Bulldogs have been unbeatable for years with 23 straight wins, but again they’re only 8-14-1 ATS.
Ole Miss delivered a push last week in a 38-35 win over Texas A&M as 3-point favorites. They’re now 6-2-1 ATS this season. As underdogs they’ve been a profitable bet lately at 4-1 ATS in their last five games.
Pick: Ole Miss +11
