College football Week 9 Betting picks: Cal, Ducks, Gators

College football picks here in Week 9 focus on top marquee matchups in the Pac 12 and one monster game between the defending national champions and their Florida Gators rivals.

We check out three top picks, with lines courtesy of NFP gold sponsor and official NCAA betting partner Draft Kings Sportsbook.

Georgia at Florida (+14.5) – Bet now at Draft Kings

Georgia may be the top ranked school in the nation, but they haven’t been a good bet lately. The Bulldogs are 1-5-1 against the spread this season and have lost three straight ATS on the road. Georgia has also lost three straight ATS on the road versus conference opponents and they’re 1-4 ATS in their last five.

Florida hasn’t been the best bet in college football, but they’re leaps and bounds ahead of the money-losing Bulldogs. The Gators were a 1-point underdog in their last game, a 41-39 SU win over South Carolina. At home the Gators have won five in a row SU with a 3-2 ATS record, and as a home underdog they’ve won five straight ATS and eight of their last 10.

Pick: Florida +14.5

Oregon at Utah (+6.5) – Bet now at Draft Kings

Oregon is coming off their first ATS loss of the season after defeating Washington State 38-24 as 19.5-point favorites last week, but we expect a ATS bounce back this week. The Ducks have been solid on the road at 7-3 SU and 6-3-1 ATS in their last 10, but those numbers look even better when they’re road favorites with seven straight wins and a 6-1 ATS mark.

Utah has won 18 straight at home with a 12-6 ATS record. One key point to note, during that lengthy home winning streak the Utes were favored in every game. As a home underdog they’ve lost five in a row SU with a 1-3-1 ATS record and they’re 2-8 SU and 5-4-1 ATS in their last 10.

Pick: Oregon -6.5

USC at California (+11) – Bet now at Draft Kings

USC’s slide continued last week in a 34-32 loss to Utah as 7.5-point favorites. That was their second straight loss SU and fifth straight loss ATS. On the road USC is a healthy 4-1 SU in their last five but a lousy 1-4 ATS.

California’s currently on a five-game ATS losing streak as well. As a home dog they’ve dropped five in a row SU with a 3-2 ATS record. Last season California picked up an ATS win over USC in a 41-35 loss as 21-point underdogs. They’re 4-1 ATS in their last five against USC.

Pick: California (+11)
