Why the Cowboys will cover

These two teams are evenly matched in a lot of ways, and it might only be a matter of time before Purdy is exposed at quarterback for San Francisco. This spot would appear to make a lot of sense for that, and it’s nice to have that hook in your back pocket.

Dallas has been a solid pick in the month of October at 9-2 ATS past 11 games and they have also been a solid UNDER play when catching points.

Why the 49ers will cover

The 49ers have beaten the Cowboys by six-plus points in each of their last two meetings, both of which came in the playoffs. They also look basically unstoppable on both sides of the ball right now, while Dallas lost to a bad team by a double-digit margin when it was last on the road.

That hook scares me. Either buy it back and take the 49ers or roll with the Cowboys in hopes that it’ll be a field-goal game. That’s highly likely, so if you’re on 3.5 take Dallas. Watch for line movement closer to kickoff, you might get a -3.
