This line moved six points on the spread and three points on the total as Joe Burrow’s calf injury has settled during the week.

His presence, combined with Cincinnati’s 0-2 start, represents trouble for the visiting LA Rams, who might just be a terrible team waiting to be exposed.

The Bengals usually lose on Monday Night (1-6 SU) while the Rams usually win early season games (19-5 SU past 24 September games). So there is a risk here and a very tempting number of 7.5 points for Rams bettors.

Why the Rams can cover the spread

Burrow has looked tentative and gimpy and he admitted that missing training camp has caused problems. Matt Stafford meanwhile has played pretty well and all the pressure is on Cincy here to perform.

It’s a rematch of Suer Bowl 56 won by the Rams who are riding a profitable 6-2 ATS run as underdogs.

Why the Bengals can cover the spread

Cincy really needs a bounce game to avoid a catastrophic 0-3 start. Motivation doesn’t always translate to performance but the Bengals at home with the season on the line is a good angle to back.

But the spread is 7.5 points and Burrow’s calf is still a work in progress. Expect heavy doses of Joe Mixon early and opening up the talented WR core for Burrow to get into a nice flow.
