Vikings Broncos Pick, Denver Covers

Somehow, despite the fact the Minnesota Vikings have lost their franchise quarterback and the Denver Broncos have the league’s worst scoring defense, both Minnesota and Denver remain in contention.

They’re both desperate with the Broncos laying two points at home Sunday night. Denver has been a disaster lately as a favorite (2-11-1 ATS) while the Vikings have covered five in a row and are 5-0-1 ATS in six road games lately.

Here’s our take for the Week 11 Sunday Nighter with midweek odds from Draft Kings Sportsbook.

Why the Vikings will cover

Josh Dobbs has seemingly lit a fire under a team that has scored 58 points in back-to-back victories. The team has won five in a row overall and now could get star receiver Justin Jefferson back in the lineup.

Why the Broncos will cover

Denver has totally turned its season around with the defense allowing just 16.0 points per game during a three-game winning streak. They also have by far the more accomplished coach and quarterback and are laying less than a field goal at home.

Vikings Broncos pick

Denver is the better overall team with the superior key cogs, especially with Jefferson’s status still up in the air. I’ll take the home squad in a virtual pick’em.
