Week 7 College Football Picks: Ole Miss, Oregon, South Carolina

A trio of betting selections highlight our Week 7college football picks lineup. Some marque teams are featured but we don’t like them to cover.

South Carolina Gamecocks at Alabama Crimson Tide (-21.5/50.5)

The Crimson Tide will try to rebound from a huge upset loss when they face the Gamecocks at home this weekend. In case you somehow missed it, last week Alabama lost to Vanderbilt 40-35 as 23.5-point favorites.

The once stout Alabama defense is the 11th ranked scoring D in the SEC this season which is part of the reason they’re 8-2 Over for total bettors in their last 10. At home they’ve won eight straight at 6-2 ATS.

South Carolina is coming off a 27-3 loss to ‘Ole Miss as 10-point underdogs. As underdogs the Gamecocks are a lousy 1-9 SU in their last 10 with a 4-6 ATS record. However, as 20-point underdogs or higher they’re 4-1 ATS in their last five.

Pick: South Carolina +21.5

Ohio State Buckeyes at Oregon Ducks (+3.5/52.5)

Two Top 5 teams clash when No. 2 Ohio State visits No. 3 Oregon as 3.5-point road underdogs. Last week Ohio State defeated Iowa 35-7 as 17.5-point favorites to improve to 5-0 SU and 3-2 ATS. The Buckeyes are a solid 9-1 SU in their last 10 road games, but only 2-6-2 ATS.

Oregon is also undefeated at 5-0 SU with a 1-4 ATS record following last week’s 31-10 win over Michigan State. At home Oregon has won 11 straight with a 6-5 ATS mark that includes three straight ATS losses. The last time the Ducks faced the Buckeyes in 2021 Oregon won 35-28 as 14.5-point favorites.

Pick: Oregon +3.5

‘Ole Miss Rebels at LSU Tigers (+3/64.5)

‘Ole Miss has been a solid bet so far this season at 5-1 SU and ATS following last week’s 27-3 win over South Carolina as 10-point favorites. When favored on the road the Rebels have won nine straight with a 7-0-2 ATS record. Last season ‘Ole Miss defeated LSU 55-49 as 2.5-point underdogs.

LSU is coming off a bye and sits at 4-1 SU, but only 1-4 ATS. The Tigers have been pretty tough at home for awhile with 13 straight wins and a 10-3 ATS record. They’re also 5-2 SU and ATS in their last seven as home underdogs.

Pick: ‘Ole Miss -3
