The Philadelphia Eagles confirmed the hiring of Dick Jauron as their secondary coach this afternoon, a move reported here by the National Football Post on Tuesday night, and continued with a busy day of reshuffling.
Mike Caldwell was promoted from quality control coach to assistant linebacker coach and Michael Zordich was hired as a quality control coach. Both are former standout players for the Eagles. Zordich coached safeties at Youngstown State last season.
There was movement in the front office as well as new general manager Howie Roseman made some promotions. Ryan Grigson was named the director of player personnel. Louis Riddick was promoted to director of pro personnel. Anthony Patch was put into the role of assistant director of college scouting. Andy Speyer was named the Southwest regional scout. Brett Veach, an assistant to Andy Reid the last three seasons, was moved into a role as a pro and college scout.
