The San Diego Chargers have parted ways with long-time long snapper David Binn, National Football Post has learned.

Binn, 39, was a rookie in 1994 when the Chargers won their only AFC Championship and has been a mainstay with the organization ever since.

Binn had never missed a game until he suffered a severe hamstring injury in the season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs last year and was placed on injured reserve.

During his 17-plus year run with the Chargers, he was a locker room favorite and even dated actress Pamela Anderson for a time.
