In the first video, Brandt looks at the pros and cons for the two sides -- the Eagles and Vick's agent -- in deciding the right timing for signing a contract. He also looks at the Franchise tag and the possible (probable?) use of this mechanism to keep Vick in Philadelphia.
In the second video, Brandt recounts the signing of Vick in 2009 when Vick had few options. Brandt details the major contract issues at that time, primarily the length, as Vick preferred one year and the Eagles wanted a second year. Brandt then discusses Vick's loyalty to the Eagles in the upcoming contract negotiations and how the warmth between the two sides will factor in.
In the third video, Brandt discusses how other contracts recently done --Tom Brady, Donovan McNabb -- and to be done -- Peyton Manning, Drew Brees -- will affect the Vick negotiations. He also looks at a possible structure to the Vick deal based on what has happened in the market.
