Brian Robison has learned his lesson.
It wasn’t cheap.
The Minnesota Vikings defensive end has been fined $20,000 by the NFL for kicking Green Bay Packers guard T.J. Lang in the ground during Sunday’s game at the Metrodome. The play drew a 15-yard penalty.
Robison has been contrite during the incident, according to the Associated Press, and has pledged to ensure it will not happen again. He said he was caught in the moment after Lang put him on his back during a field goal try. It will be a hefty donation to one of the charities the NFL supports.
