Ryan McBean wasn't going to figure into the Denver Broncos' first six games of 2012, pending the overturning of his suspension for violating the league's performance-enhancement policy.
Now, according to the Denver Post, he won't figure into their plans at all. The Broncos have notified the defensive tackle that he will be released.
McBean played 58 percent of the defensive snaps for the Broncos last year, but became expendable when Denver brought back Justin Bannan last week as a free agent.
McBean was one of three Broncos suspended for violating the performance-enhancing substances policy, along with linebacker D.J. Williams and tight end Virgil Green. Williams and McBean have sued the league regarding their suspensions.
