The Denver Broncos want to open up the 2010 regular season with a bang.
Per Mike Klis of the Denver Post</a>, the Broncos want to host the Oakland Raiders in one of two Monday night games on the Week 1 schedule. The NFL began featuring a Monday night double-header in 2006.
And why not? The Broncos may be 8-10 on Monday Night Football since 2000, but they’re also 15-3 at home in the month of September during that same time span.
Regardless of what we say, the NFL will reveal its 2010 prime-time schedule on Monday.
Early speculation has the New Orleans Saints hosting the Minnesota Vikings in the league’s Thursday night opener.
