Cleveland Browns running back Ben Tate returned to practice from a sprained knee and is set to start against the Tennessee Titans if he's healthy, coach Mike Pettine announced.
"Looking forward to getting him back," Pettine said.. "He was playing at a high level before he got hurt."
Tate was the starter before he got hurt. Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell have excelled during his absence.
"It leads us to believe it shouldn't be an issue this week, but we still need to get him a full week of practice and see how the knee responds to it," Pettine said.
West has rushed for 204 yards. Crowell has three touchdown runs.
"Not to knock those guys, but anybody could have a great game or two," Tate said. "It's how you put it together throughout the season, and I think I've done that in this league."
