The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Anthony Collins as their new left tackle.
Now, they've cut offensive tackle Donald Penn. He became expendable.
Penn was due a $6.75 million base salary.
However, the Buccaneers didn't feel like his pay matched his compensation.
Penn could be of interest to the Oakland Raiders, who flunked Rodger Saffold on a physical and lost Jared Veldheer to the Arizona Cardinals, or the Washington Redskins.
Penn has started 108 career games.
