The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will likely be without second-year safety Cody Grimm for the remainder of the season.
Grimm suffered an ACL injury to his right knee in Sunday’s 16-13 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, according to Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times.
Grimm, who emerged as a young and vocal leader for the Bucs, was hurt when he helped fill the hole on a Michael Turner run. He collided with linebacker Geno Hayes and the Hayes may be sidelined with a concussion, per the report.
Grimm missed the final few weeks of his rookie season with a broken leg.
