The Philadelphia Eagles are cleaning house.
They are trading cornerback Byron Maxwell and linebacker Kiko Alonso to the Miami Dolphins.
The Eagles will get draft picks in the trade.
Maxwell struggled last season as he made over $13 million.
Maxwell is due $8.5 million this season and $10.5 million in 2017. He may be asked to tweak his deal.
Alonso didn't do well after the trade from the Buffalo Bills.
