The New England Patriots have lost defensive end Chandler Jones for roughly a month with a hip injury, according to the Boston Globe.
He led the Patriots with 11.5 sacks last season.
The Patriots added former Buffalo Bills defensive end Alan Branch to the roster on a one-year contract.
The Bills cut Branch after he was arrested for driving under the influence.
