The San Diego Chargers activated outside linebacker Melvin Ingram from injured reserve-designated to return and placed cornerback Jason Verrett on injured reserve.
Ingram had a hip injury.
Safety Adrian Phillips was promoted from the pracftice squad.
Verrett has a torn labrum and rotator cuff and will undergo surgery.
The Chargers cut linebacker Cordarro Law.
