Arizona WR Dorian Singer enters transfer portal
One of the top wide receivers in college football intends to transfer as Arizona’s Dorian Singer entered the portal on Monday.
Singer confirmed multiple reports by posting a message to Twitter. He said he entered the portal after “long talks” with his family. He also said he appreciated his Arizona teammates for “keeping my confidence high and holding me to a high ceiling on and off the field.”
A 6-foot-1 sophomore, Singer led the Pac-12 this season in receiving yards with 1,105. He was also sixth in the conference in receptions with 66. He scored six touchdowns and averaged 16.7 yards per catch in 12 games.
Arizona went 5-7 this season under second-year head coach Jedd Fisch.
A native of Saint Paul, Minn., Singer was a three-star prospect in the 2021 class and chose Arizona over offers from Texas, Air Force, Iowa State and Utah, among other programs.
He was on the mid-season watchlist for the Biletnikoff Award this year.
