Clemson promotes Graham Neff to athletic director
Clemson announced Thursday that Graham Neff is the school’s new athletic director.
Neff, 38, was promoted from deputy athletic director to replace Dan Radakovich, who left earlier this month to become Miami’s AD.
Neff will receive a starting salary of $850,000 with annual $50,000 raises to increase his salary to $1.05 million for the final year of the deal, which runs through June 2027, according to The State.
“Clemson has been home to my family for the past nine years, and I am grateful to President (Jim) Clements and the Board of Trustees for their faith in us,” Neff said in a news release. “Clemson is one of the most dynamic universities in the country, with tremendous alignment through all areas of leadership.
“This institution will remain committed to serving our student-athletes and helping create the best opportunity to win championships. Clemson’s national profile continues to grow, and I believe the best is yet to come.”
Neff, who arrived at Clemson in 2013, was serving as interim AD after Radakovich’s departure.
