Purdue’s Brohm has presumed positive test for COVID
Purdue coach Jeff Brohm had a presumed positive test for COVID-19, the school announced Sunday.
In a news release, Purdue said Brohm returned a positive result via an antigen test, and he is at home in isolation while the school waits for confirmation from a PCR test.
Brohm informed his team and staff on Sunday and is expected to address the media in a teleconference call on Monday.
Brohm, 49, has a record of 17-21 at Purdue as he enters his fourth season with the Boilermakers. He is 47-31 overall as a college head coach, including his three-year stint at Western Kentucky.
The Boilermakers are scheduled to open their season at home against Iowa on Saturday.
