Reports: Pac-12 to postpone football, fall sports

The Pac-12 postponed its football season due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to multiple reports on Tuesday.

The conference was slated to make an official announcement at 4:30 p.m. ET.

One report said the league is suspending all fall sports through Jan. 1.

The Pac-12 is expected to attempt to play football in the spring.

The Pac-12’s impending announcement will be made not long after the Big Ten announced the cancellation of football and all fall sports.

Two other Football Bowl Subdivision conferences, the Mid-American and Mountain West, previously announced the postponement of football.

Independents Connecticut and Massachusetts as well as Old Dominion of Conference USA also won’t play football this fall.
