The Oakland Raiders were without quarterback Derek Carr during their organized team activity.
He has a ring finger injury and could possibly require surgery, a league source confirmed.
Christian Ponder worked with the starters in Carr's absence.
"Time missed is May is better than time missing in September," Raiders coach Jack Del Rio said. "You're often more capable of taking whatever time is necessary to make sure you put things behind you."
