Dez Bryant could be cleared for a full return to practice beginning next week with the Dallas Cowboys.
Bryant ran some routes in practice Thursday for the first time since suffering a high-ankle sprain last month in San Antonio.
Per the Dallas Morning News, there is no question that Bryant will be ready to play before the season opener Sept. 12 against the Washington Redskins.
“I'm excited,” Bryant said. “I am ready for it. I know I can (cut on the ankle).
“I know for a fact that I'm going to be ready for Washington. I know for a fact. I feel great, I feel fine. If you've been here, you've seen me run. I've been running; I've been doing a lot of good things. So I'll be ready.”
There is a chance that Bryant could see some time in the Cowboys’ final preseason game next week, but the Cowboys have no need to risk anything.
