The Miami Dolphins aren't matching the Buffalo Bills' five-year, $38 million offer sheet for tight end and transition player Charles Clay, a league source confirmed.
The Dolphins had five days to match the offer sheet.
Clay is due to make $24.5 million in the first two years.
The Dolphins lose Clay without receiving any compensation.
The Dolphins don't need Clay back. They signed Jordan Cameron to a two-year, $15 million deal.
The Dolphins offered Clay a four-year, $27 million deal after signing Cameron.
