The Miami Dolphins have signed third-round offensive lineman Billy Turner to a four-year contract.
Turner played for a national championship FCS team last season at North Dakota State.
He started the last 56 games of his career and was a two-time All-American selection.
Turned was selected to the Senior Bowl.
The Dolphins traded up in the third round to the Oakland Raiders' pick to acquire Turner.
“He brings a lot of versatility,”?Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey said. “The thing we like about him he was also a team captain. Just brings toughness, size, athletic ability and brings a lot of versatility. He was a guy we definitely valued and wanted to move up to get."
