Now that Doug Marrone has opted out of his contract with the Buffalo Bills, the coach is in demand.
He's lined up interviews with the New York Jets, Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons.
Marrone had two years left on his four-year, $16 million contract. He has a guaranteed salary of $4 million for 2015 without any offset. Marrone is a former New York Jets offensive line coach.
"I just found out Doug Marrone is available. We will look at him," owner Woody Johnson told the New York Daily News. "He is a coach who was with us. And I know him a little bit."
With the Bills, Marrone went 6-10 and 9-7.
Marrone told players in a text message that he was leaving, drawing heavy criticism from Bills players.
