Former Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns wide receiver Davone Bess was arrested Monday in Arizona after barricading himself in his home for hours following him fleeing a traffic stop and then surrendering to police.
Bess has a history of mental illness.
He faces three felony charges: endangerment, felony flight and failure to stop for a police officer
Two years ago, Bess was arrested for battery on a police officer at the Fort Lauderdale airport.
