Two players at the Atlanta Falcons minicamp over the weekend got the ultimate reward, at least considering their circumstances.
Quarterback Eric Ward and defensive back Daylan Walker, who were in for looks at tryout players, were signed to contracts as undrafted free agents.
Ward, who played at Richmond, is an Atlanta native. Walker, who is undersized at 5-9, 17 pounds, is an Arkansas State product.
