It only took South Carolina three plays to negate that drive as Harris ran 45 yards for a touchdown.

The Tigers drove into scoring position on their next possession before stalling. Cade York’s 27-yard field goal gave them a 10-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Finley threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Marshall to increase the lead to 17-7 early in the second quarter.

Parker White was short on a 54-yard field goal, but after a Finley interception, White kicked a 45-yarder to cut the lead to 17-10.
