The New York Giants have placed veteran running back Peyton Hillis on injured reserfve.

He has a concussion.

Hillis has rushed for 115 yards and has 87 receiving yards.

Last season, Hillis had 256 rushing yards and 97 receiving yards,

In 2008 with the Cleveland Browns, Hillis rushed for a career-high 1,177 yards.

The Giants activated linebacker Justin Anderson to take Hillis' spot.
